It was my daughter’s leavers assembly for primary school today. Afterwards, she broke down in tears because she thought that as she didn’t win an award we would think she didn’t work hard enough and that she wasn’t good enough. These are the struggles that our autistic and neurodivergent kids live with. #adhd #autism #parenting she is so brave, kind and compassionate, and that’s all we ever ask of her.
