So, the international meeting on the Strait of Hormuz, convened & (virtually) hosted by the UK considered 'every possible diplomatic, economic & co-ordinated measure' to convince Iran to 're-open' the Strait (well, not so much re-open as lift the threat of attacks on those ships not authorised by Iran to pass through).
Of course, the real 'solution' would be to halt US & Israeli attacks on Iran (to which Iran is responding)...but I'm sure that wasn't on the table!
