Yesterday I was talking to a kid in a coffee shop about new D&D books he was flipping through. I told him about Advanced D&D, which we played in the 80s & which this kid had heard of through ye olde mists of tyme. And then he stumped me: He asked if Githyanki had been featured in the original Monster Manual. I don't know! I cried.
But now a friend reminds me that Githyanki were THE COVER of the original FIEND FOLIO. And who made them? @cstross did.
