We know that exercise is good for you, but the health benefits of cycle commuting are striking. A study followed 82,000 #Scottish people over 18 years and showed that cyclists had 47% lower risk of death (during the study period) compared with inactive commuters, plus a 51% lower risk of dying from cancer.
