More land is used for golf courses than for renewable energy.

This could be fixed. Bankrupting a golf course and then rescuing it with a community buyout for agrosolar sounds like a constructive #solarpunk project....

@yetiinabox It'd be a lot faster to just canopy all the paved space or even better, cover over said paved space with panels on the ground. Seriously all you'd need is a parking study, way less work than bankrupting a golf course and you get the same tears from the Sad Fossil Boys.

@yetiinabox I used to live next to a golf course that was always on the brink of bankruptcy. Their upkeep costs are high and their margins depend on membership. Drive one up and/or the other down...
