The “Energy Transition Zone’, a shady conglomerate with a fossil fuel billionaire backer, is planning environmental destruction to prolong the life of oil and gas , with false “solutions” like carbon capture and storage that will allow oil and gas to keep flowing. They want to start their destructive work this winter. This means a contractor could start very soon. Friends of St Fittick's Park is preparing legal action, and have gathered legal advice, and the community have a real chance to win against council and fossil fuel lobby. They will need all the support they can get - from awareness to fundraising for the legal costs.
