Praying for their captor: April 14, 1945, five Japanese American monks pray for the deceased President FDR at the Minidoka concentration camp in Hunt, Idaho. They were imprisoned, along with 120,000 other legal residents and citizens, for more than 3 years due to FDR's Executive Order 9066.

The 5 are Gibun Kimura (Nishi), Yohaku Arakawa (Nichiren), Eiyu Terao (Nishi), Hojun Sugimoto (Nishi), and Gikan Nishinaga (Nishi)
